Hal Palowoda: Dig it up and replace space with top soil. You could wait about 150 years and mother nature will take care of the concrete.
Alvaro Oare: 1. Find a landscaper with the ability to break the concrete and haul it away then till and fill as needed. Plant your garden or lawn.2. Break the concrete with a sledge and build raised beds by stacking the broken pieces rough side up either 2 or 3 high and form a bed. Have topsoil delivered and dumped into the bed. Lining the inside with landscape fabric will help retain the top dirt.Option one is quicker and easier, and you won''t get blisters writing the check... Good luck!...Show more
Ilana Gaster: You could leave the tennis court as is and turn it into a raised garden. To do this you would build raised beds on top of the court. I would make them at least 16 inches deep. Fill with good compost/topsoil. Then you could have artificial turf laid down. It will allow the water to run off and not flood. You will h! ave to install an irrigation system for the raised beds, but this would probably be the most cost effective. Tearing out a tennis court is expensive and not a job I would want to tackle myself. You'd be best off renting a jackhammer. Then you have the disposal of the concrete/asphalt which is more expensive....Show more
