Mitchel Demry: We have only 2% of our forests left, that are protected from being logged, because if they weren't we would have no forests left.
Felipa Nosis: They have much larger problems than trying to save a forest, unfortunately that government is struggling with the basics, like not being openly corrupt. Ergo you will not likely find too much available for a large well known conservation project, seek small isolated private projects. There's bound to be some unknown financially challenged project that could use your publicity. If not ... start your own!?
