Gene Debell: Canon, no doubt sony's are cheaply made and have crappy lenses. A Canon lens will be way sharper then a crappy carl zeiss anyday.Take my word for it and go canon, the only thing that sony has is little gimmicky things that please the public like.... the touchscreen and other non useful things in a camera.
Marita Stadick: Canon. When it comes to technology, your best bet is to buy from someone who specializes in what you're looking for. Sony makes everything, but makes nothing really well. Canon is all cameras.

Florencia Manolakis: Better for what?If you are looking at DSLRs then Canon have a far more comprehensive system with a greater range of lenses and wider R & D.
Shaun Rapkowicz: To be honest it is not always about brand name rather what each brand can offer in terms of quality, value etc.You need to compare specs of each camera and decide which has the best features for what you are looking for.
