Jesusita Dykhoff: I remember going to a park or two, that are no longer there but I'm not sure which area you are talking about. I don't know where Ft. Meigs is! Frontier town or land was the name of one and the other was Mother Goose Land. Probably not what you are looking for but they were located near I-70 and off the beaten path. One might have been located near the Wilds or Cambridge.
Donovan Stallons: Thanks for all the answers so far! I know it's not Idora and I LOVE the defunct parks website, I'm on there all the time. Idora was clear on the other side of the State. I'm not sure it was Volmar's either, this wasn't a farm type of place, it was in the woods. Strange huh?? I remember it well and just have always struggled to remember the name of the place and I've often wondered how long it lasted. We left Perrysburg in 1978 not long after the blizzard. The rides tended to break down a lot, I do remember that!...Show more
Hunter Beech: Was it ca! lled Volmars. I remember my parents taking me there in the early 90's. But it was more like a farm with amusement rides.
Malcom Fenoff: My Mom said she remembers something there (she thinks), but can't remember the name.
Sheron Perrez: Only park I can remember up in Ohio was Idora Park, but I'm not sure if that's the one or not. It was in Youngstown. If so, here's a link you might enjoy.http://www.defunctparks.com/parks/OH/Idora/idora.h...Additional edit - the only other park I and some friends could think of was Volmar's as well, about 10 min away. They said that Volmar's wasn't really a farm; it was a Grove next to the Maumee River. I'll ask a few more friends (enthusiasts) to see if any of them can think of any other possibilities as well....Show more
Donita Desjardin: I went to Cedar factor over the summer time, controlled a million/2 of them earlier the park closed and nonetheless neglected out on the right 2, millenium tension and the dragster. The! park is dazzling.
Dallas Bartolini: Wish I could help. ! I Googled it but couldn't find anything. Definitely not Idora, which was my stomping grounds growing up. Once rode the WildCat there 43 times in a row. Before it burned, it was one of the top 10 wooden coasters in the country.
